Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Department: Operations / Supply Chain
Reports To: Plant Manager/ General Manager

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst ensures 100% stock accuracy and maintains a seamless flow of raw materials for our custom packaging production. This role balances precise physical inventory control with proactive supply chain coordination and vendor ordering to prevent manufacturing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Accuracy

• Perform daily cycle counts of foam planks, paperboard, hardware, consumables, adhesives, etc..
• Reconcile physical stock against our ERP/inventory tracking software system daily.
• Investigate count discrepancies to identify root causes and minimize material waste.
• Organize warehouse layout to optimize space and ensure clear labeling of custom lots.

Supply Chain & Material Ordering

• Monitor stock levels against production schedules to anticipate material shortages.
• Place purchase orders for raw materials, custom dies and tooling.
• Track supplier shipments to guarantee on-time delivery of critical manufacturing components.
• Evaluate vendor performance based on lead times, pricing, and material quality.
• Coordinate freight logistics for incoming raw materials to optimize shipping costs.

Quality Control & Receiving

• Inspect incoming raw materials for damage or deviations from specifications.
• Log receiving paperwork including packing slips, bills of lading, and certificates of analysis.
• Manage defective returns by coordinating directly with suppliers for credits or replacements.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, or purchasing.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency with ERP/MRP software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong math skills, and clear communication.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
