For 90 years, we have been an icon in Mexico City, a place where people gather and memories are made around the simple joy of a warm churro and rich, hot chocolate. Today, that tradition is growing across Southern California. After opening in Costa Mesa, we are preparing for our new store in Echo Park and beyond. We are looking for passionate individuals who don't just want to take orders, but who want to be ambassadors of our culture and become true Creators of Tradition.

A Day in the Life of a Creator of Tradition:
As the heart of our churrería, your day will be filled with energy, variety, and purpose, focusing on three main areas:

Be an "Always Positive" Host & Server: You will be the friendly face of El Moro. You will guide guests, handle transactions, and serve food and beverages directly to their tables with the warmth of a freshly made churro.

Step into the Chocolatier Role: You will proudly craft our famous hot and iced chocolates, coffee beverages, and milkshakes. We are an "all-hands-on-deck" team, meaning you'll cross-train and help out wherever assigned to ensure every order hits our "Always Impeccable" standard.

Maintain the Magic: You will contribute to keeping our space spotless, organized, and ready to welcome our guests. From the counter to the dining room floor, your attention to detail ensures the El Moro experience is perfect from start to finish.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides the Churros!):
We are looking for people who live our core values. Technical experience is great, but a passion for service is essential.

You have the "Smile of the Churro" (Siempre Positivos): You are naturally friendly, empathetic, and love to make someone's day a little sweeter.

You are "Always Impeccable" (Siempre Intachable): You are honest, responsible, and take pride in your work and the cleanliness of your space.

You are "Always Prepared" (Siempre Preparados): You adapt well to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are always ready to support your team on the floor.

You are "Always Advancing" (Siempre Avanzando): You are eager to learn, grow, and share your knowledge with others.

The Fundamentals:
You have a valid Food Handler Certification (or are willing to get one), are bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred), and have the flexibility to work opening shifts, closing shifts, and weekends. Experience in a fast-paced food, bakery, or hospitality setting is a huge plus.
