Job Summary:
The primary responsibility for the IT Manager is to serve as the single point of accountability for all site technology services, driving operational excellence, cybersecurity, infrastructure lifecycle management, and user satisfaction while supporting business growth and operational continuity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead IT Operations and Service Delivery Management by overseeing daily IT operations, ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of IT services, establishing service level objectives (SLAs), and driving continuous improvements to support business operations.
- Manage enterprise infrastructure, network, and data center operations by ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of servers, storage, network infrastructure, cloud services, and data center environments while planning for future capacity and technology upgrades.
- Oversee cybersecurity and IT risk management programs by implementing security policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing incident response activities, and safeguarding company systems, networks, and information assets from cyber threats.
- Manage business applications and database support by ensuring the availability, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, coordinating application upgrades, supporting database operations, and working with business stakeholders to optimize system functionality.
- Provide leadership for End User Computing (EUC) and Service Desk operations by overseeing desktop support, endpoint management, user account administration, hardware and software deployment, incident management, and customer service to deliver a high-quality end-user experience.
- Develop and execute IT strategy, budget, and governance initiatives by aligning technology investments with business objectives, managing IT budgets and vendor contracts, establishing IT policies and standards, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
- Lead IT projects and digital transformation initiatives by planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects, managing project timelines and resources, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving innovation to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Oversee physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and related security technologies, by ensuring system reliability, coordinating installations and upgrades, supporting incident investigations, and partnering with facilities and security teams to maintain a secure workplace.
- Manage IT procurement, contracts, and technology assets by overseeing vendor selection, contract negotiations, software licensing, hardware procurement, asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and ensuring cost-effective utilization of IT resources.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the IT team by establishing performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, providing coaching and professional development opportunities, fostering collaboration and accountability, and building a high-performing team that supports organizational objectives and continuous improvement.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in management role.
- Experience in leading IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, and technology strategy to support organizational goals and business growth.
