Counter Sales in Santa Ana, California at Gordon Electric Supply Inc

The Counter Sales Representative creates value for our customers by successfully assisting in the sales process from the inception to the execution of the order. Identifying opportunities to collaborate with the customer and grow sales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures accurate, responsive customer service is provided through day-to-day operations at the counter, and via electronic communication.
2. Provides alternative solutions and complementary products to increase the value for the customer and the company.
3. Prepares and stages orders for customer pickup.
4. Follows cash handling procedures.
5. Ensure products are restocked and placed in the respective storefront areas as time allows.
6. Remains current on all required training as mandated by Gordon Electric Supply.
7. Assists in the warehouse and performs other job and work-related responsibilities, tasks, and duties as needed.
8. Perform other job and work-related responsibilities, tasks and projects as needed.
9. Uphold the Core Values of Gordon Electric Supply.

Education, Experience, Credentials
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required only when the role is assigned to operate a company vehicle (for example, deliveries or off-site customer visits). Where driving is not an assigned function, a driver’s license is not a condition of employment.
