FWS Fall 2026, Library Administration Library Student Assistant in Lexington, Kentucky at University of Kentucky

Must be currently enrolled as Full-Time UK student for Fall 2026 semester.

Must speak and understand English, enjoy working with the public and have good customer service skills. Must have attention to detail, be willing to carry out work efficiently and effectively and take initiative.

Be able to physically push heavy book carts weighing over 50 pounds, shelve materials on lowest and highest shelves (using step stool) and occasionally work in dusty environment.

Weekdays between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Evenings
Weekends
Overnight shifts from 11:00 pm – 8:00 am.

Responsibilities include working at the Circulation Desk (checking out books, answering questions, and other patron assistance), Stacks Maintenance (sorting, shelving, shelf reading books) and other tasks as assigned.
