Facilities Maintenance Technician in Weatherford, Texas at Hobson Air Conditioning, Inc

Location: Weatherford, TX (Travel Throughout the DFW Metroplex)

We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain our corporate headquarters, DFW service centers, and company-owned rental properties.

Every day is different. Your responsibilities may include:

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs at our corporate headquarters, DFW service centers, and rental properties

• Complete basic plumbing repairs and fixture replacements

• Perform minor electrical repairs, including switches, outlets, lighting, and troubleshooting

• Conduct basic HVAC maintenance and preventative upkeep

• Complete carpentry projects, drywall repairs, painting, and general improvements

• Repair or replace doors, locks, windows, trim, flooring, and other building components

• Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and company assets

• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues before they become costly repairs

• Maintain company grounds and assist with exterior upkeep as needed

• Complete work orders accurately, safely, and efficiently

• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a clean and organized manner

• Respond to occasional maintenance emergencies when necessary

• Travel throughout the DFW Metroplex to maintain company facilities and complete repair projects

• Experience in facilities maintenance, commercial building maintenance, handyman work, construction, or a related skilled trade

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance

• HVAC experience is a plus, but not required

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and safely operate power tools and equipment
