Job Description

Therapy Owned and Operated

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function and mobility. You will assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Your work will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes. You will also educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing patients' quality of life by restoring movement and reducing pain.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in the United States.
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, orthopedic rehabilitation, and manual therapy techniques.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations including sports injuries and geriatric rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) or Sports Physical Therapy (SCS).
  • Experience with advanced rehabilitation technologies and modalities.
  • Additional training or certification in geriatric rehabilitation or neurological physical therapy.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Previous experience in a multidisciplinary clinical or sports medicine setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical conditions, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on orthopedic, sports-related, and geriatric rehabilitation.
  • Apply manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
