THE ROLE

As a Fulfillment Specialist, your responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely order processing while upholding top quality control standards. This position requires someone adaptable with keen attention to detail, along with a positive and collaborative attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring all items are free from damage
  • Accurately document and log received items into the inventory management system
  • Collaborate with other departments, including outbound and inventory control, to ensure smooth operations
  • Uphold high-quality standards in product handling and packaging
  • Must be comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records
  • Demonstrate a problem-solving attitude and actively identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Consistently meet deadlines while being dependable and consistent in tasks and responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned with the flexibility to rotate to other departments and work extended hours, as necessary to support the business
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prior logistics, fulfillment and/or industry experience (preferred)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Must be able to count and compute math.
  • Experience with computers, especially MS Office
  • Honest with a high level of integrity
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, frequently reaching with hands and arms, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting and carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs.
  • Experience with hand-held scanners (preferred)
  • Verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records.
  • Confirming product integrity, checking for overages, shortages, or damage.
  • Not prone to making clerical mistakes
  • High accuracy rate with alpha-numeric sequences
  • Dedicated to quality and high standards
  • Understanding the importance of accuracy and the potential financial implication it could have on the company.
  • Must be cross-functional into other areas within the department as needed.
  • Ability to read and understand production and shipping documents
  • Supportive of values following policies and procedures
  • Positive, ambitious, energetic, hardworking with a strong work ethic
  • Exceptional communication who is well organized and has an eye for detail
  • Motivated, reliable, and a self-starter who can work independently or with a team
