Business Intelligence Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst based in United States.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will contribute to a mission-driven organization by developing analytical solutions, reporting frameworks, and data visualizations that guide strategic initiatives.
Working closely with data, informatics, and operational teams, this position helps ensure accurate, accessible, and actionable information is available to key stakeholders.
The role combines data analysis, reporting, visualization, and process improvement within a collaborative healthcare-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analyzing organizational data, developing reporting solutions, and delivering insights that support operational effectiveness, compliance, and strategic decision-making. This role works across departments to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with internal and external reporting requirements.

  • Develop analytical reports through data mining, data management, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Create and maintain reporting solutions that support contractual requirements, operational needs, and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Manage reporting schedules, ensuring timely delivery of internal and external reports while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Present analytical findings and insights to internal teams, committees, and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Design user-friendly dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
  • Ensure reporting data is accurate, consistent, well-documented, and traceable to reliable data sources.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between multiple data sources and investigate data quality issues.
  • Analyze population, disability, and demographic data to identify trends and provide recommendations.
  • Support data science and informatics initiatives through reporting development and analytical expertise.
  • Recommend improvements based on data findings that can positively influence programs, services, and organizational outcomes.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and experience working with data, reporting systems, and business intelligence tools. They should be comfortable translating complex information into clear insights while collaborating with diverse teams.

  • High school diploma/GED with six years of relevant experience in information technology, data analytics, statistics, business, sciences, healthcare, or human services fields; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate degree in a related field with four years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in a related field with two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience performing data analysis, reporting, data management, or business intelligence activities.
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data-driven insights.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must reside within the United States.
  • Valid driver’s license required, with ability to travel as needed.
  • Preferred certifications include CSPA, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Predictive Analytics Certificate, CAHIMS, ITIL, or equivalent credentials.
