Description:

As a Signal of New England Security Officer, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's communities, residents, and culture. We are currently seeking a reliable and observant Security Officer to join our team. This role is located at Kimball Court Apartments which primarily involves interior and exterior foot patrol duties, including monitoring parking lot activity, deterring unauthorized entry to the building during off-hours, and overseeing contractor access to the property. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol the property on foot, walking multiple flights of stairs throughout each shift
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or maintenance concerns
  • Restrict unauthorized access and engage with the public in a confident manner
  • Maintain a visible presence to provide reassurance to residents
  • Write detailed reports of daily activities and incidents
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or alarms
  • Ensure all building access points are secure
  
  Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Prior experience working overnight security shifts is a plus
  • Ability to walk for extended periods and climb stairs regularly
  • Strong observational and communication skills
  • Comfortable addressing individuals and setting boundaries professionally
  • Experience in residential security is a plus, but not required
