RN - Long Term Care and Assisted Living in Ortonville, Minnesota at Ortonville Area Health Services

Fairway View Senior Living seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to work direct patient care in many capacities – observing, assessing, passing medications, and documenting information relating to the residents.

Duties Include:

• Makes regular rounds observing resident conditions, vital signs, assessing findings, planning resident nursing care, and recording pertinent information
• Accurate administration of medication and treatment as prescribed by physician. Assists physician during rounds in absence of Care Coordinator to facilitate communication
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacy providers, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident care
• Instructs residents on their treatments and medication to promote resident understanding and continuity of care
• Provides necessary support to LPN’s and CNA’s to ensure they are able to perform their work
• Supervises the care by LPNs and CNAs to residents
• Serves as a role model for other nursing personnel

Hours and Pay:

• Part Time, 56 hours per 2 week pay period, Day shift 6am – 2:30pm
