Job Description

Product Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer based in Germany.

As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences for international products. You will work on complex web interfaces and core user journeys, balancing user needs, business objectives, and product performance metrics. In a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will partner with product managers, developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to transform challenges into effective design solutions. From user research and hypothesis development to prototyping, validation, and post-launch analysis, you will contribute throughout the entire product design lifecycle. You will also help maintain design consistency, improve usability, and optimize experiences based on user behavior and feedback. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of meaningful projects, explore innovative solutions, and grow professionally within a supportive and ambitious team.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, optimize, and maintain intuitive web interfaces that address user needs, business objectives, and product performance goals.
  • Improve key user journeys, including registration, authentication, user profiles, bonuses, promotional activities, gamification, navigation, and search functionality.
  • Identify UX challenges, gather relevant context, formulate hypotheses, and develop design solutions that can be tested and validated.
  • Initiate and conduct UX research, post-launch research, competitive analysis, and user behavior analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, interface states, and edge cases, ensuring that design specifications and interaction logic are clearly documented for development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, analysts, QA specialists, copywriters, support teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Maintain and improve interface consistency by working within established design systems and contributing to their ongoing development.
  • Present design solutions, explain design decisions using research and product insights, and actively participate in product discussions.
  • Ensure interfaces are visually consistent, responsive, accessible where applicable, and aligned with usability and product requirements.
  • Use product metrics, user feedback, and behavioral analytics to evaluate design effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, retention, and churn.
  • Work independently to clarify requirements, identify constraints, address uncertainties, and drive design initiatives from problem definition through implementation and post-launch evaluation.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Product Designer, with a proven track record of designing complex web and mobile interfaces within a product team.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, variants, styles, variables, prototyping, and preparing design files for development.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including spacing, alignment, layer and frame naming, visual consistency, and the definition of interface states.
  • A solid understanding of the end-to-end product design process, from problem discovery and research to solution design, validation, developer handoff, and post-launch analysis.
  • The ability to work autonomously, define problems, gather context, identify constraints, propose effective solutions, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience designing complex user journeys, page structures, navigation systems, forms, validation rules, error messages, contextual guidance, and edge cases.
  • Strong skills in creating polished, consistent, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Understanding of product metrics, including conversion, engagement, retention, and churn, with the ability to formulate hypotheses and justify design decisions using data and user insights.
  • Experience conducting or initiating UX research and incorporating product analytics and user feedback into design improvements.
  • Familiarity with frontend technical constraints and fundamental HTML/CSS principles.
  • English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

The following qualifications are considered an advantage:

  • Experience in B2C, entertainment, iGaming, fintech, or other products involving complex user journeys.
  • Familiarity with behavioral analytics tools such as FullStory, Hotjar, Google Analytics, or Tableau.
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Previous involvement in developing, maintaining, or scaling design systems.
  • Experience writing design documentation, specifications, UX annotations, and detailed descriptions of complex interface states.
  • Mentoring experience or a strong interest in developing mentoring and leadership skills.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work: Work from wherever you feel comfortable and safe, with access to office hubs in Kyiv and Warsaw if preferred.
  • Paid time off: 20 working days of paid annual leave, in addition to public holidays and sick leave.
  • Health insurance: Medical insurance with access to leading clinics.
  • Mental health support: Coverage for psychological support through the Pleso platform.
  • Flexible lifestyle benefits: A monthly benefits allowance that can be used for personal interests, hobbies, sports, and other eligible activities.
  • Professional development: An individual learning budget for courses, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.
  • Language learning: Access to corporate English classes to strengthen communication skills.
  • Career growth: A structured career development plan supported by performance reviews, training, mentoring programs, and other growth initiatives.
  • Collaborative culture: Team-building activities, corporate events, workshops, and opportunities to connect with colleagues.
  • Modern technology environment: Opportunities to build technological solutions from the ground up and work with teams that automate routine tasks to focus on innovation and professional growth.
  • Autonomy and flexibility: A culture that values initiative, open communication, creative problem-solving, and freedom from unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Meaningful market focus: The organization does not serve customers using its products or services in the Ukrainian market and does not work with clients from Russia or other Russian-speaking markets.
