Layr is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Policy Inquiry Specialist to join our growing Customer Support team!

In this role, you'll help policyholders and Broker Partners navigate their existing commercial insurance policies by researching inquiries, providing accurate information, and delivering exceptional service.

We're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

• Research and respond to inquiries regarding commercial insurance policies, coverage, billing, and related information.
• Review policy documents, endorsements, and carrier information to provide accurate responses.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with policyholders and Broker Partners.
• Take ownership of assigned inquiries from initial request through resolution.
• Manage multiple requests while meeting established service expectations and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inquiries and resolutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance the customer experience.

• Experience in commercial insurance servicing, policy administration, or a related insurance support role.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, terminology, and documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with insurance carrier portals and agency management systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• A proactive mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
