Job Description

Manufacturing Inventory Clerk – Inventory Counting & Material HandlingEnjoy staying organized, working with your hands, and keeping things running smoothly? Join MasterMold!

MasterMold is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to help keep our manufacturing operations organized and running efficiently.

This is a hands-on position, not a desk-based inventory analyst or supply chain planning role. You'll spend much of your day on the production floor and in inventory storage areas, physically counting parts, moving materials, operating forklifts, and making sure inventory is accurate and in the right place.

If you enjoy staying active, keeping things organized, and working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, this could be a great fit!

What You'll Be Doing

Inventory Counting & Organization

  • Perform physical inventory counts of raw materials, manufactured parts, and finished products.

  • Count, verify, label, and organize inventory throughout the facility.

  • Identify inventory discrepancies and help correct inaccurate counts.

  • Track and organize Return to Stock (RTS) materials and parts.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and accessible inventory storage areas, including the parts cage.

  • Assist with monthly and annual inventory counts.

Forklift Operation & Material Handling

  • Operate forklifts to safely move and organize materials throughout the facility.

  • Load, unload, transport, and stage materials as needed.

  • Move parts and supplies between production departments and storage locations.

  • Receive, identify, and put away incoming materials.

  • Follow forklift safety procedures and material-handling requirements.

Inventory Tracking & Production Support

  • Enter inventory counts, material movements, and other information into our Sage 100 inventory system.

  • Monitor and replenish parts and supplies using our Kanban system.

  • Help ensure production departments have the materials they need.

  • Locate missing or misplaced inventory and help resolve discrepancies.

  • Communicate with Purchasing and Production regarding inventory shortages or material needs.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, inventory counting, stockroom operations, or material handling.

  • Experience operating a forklift or willingness to complete required training.

  • Good basic math and counting skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter inventory information.

  • The ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day.

  • A willingness to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and handling materials.

Helpful, But Not Required:

  • Experience with physical inventory counts or cycle counting.

  • Experience using inventory software such as Sage 100.

  • Familiarity with Kanban systems or manufacturing parts inventory.

  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Material Handler, Stockroom Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or Parts Clerk.

A Few Things to Know
  • This is an active, hands-on position involving physical inventory counts, material movement, and organization throughout a manufacturing facility.

  • The position includes both physical inventory work and basic computer data entry.

  • Occasional weekend availability may be needed for scheduled inventory counts.

  • Physical duties must be performed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.

If you're the type of person who likes everything in its proper place, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in keeping things accurate and organized, we want to hear from you!
