Job Description

Description:

Downhole Chemical Solutions (DCS) is an employee-owned oil and gas chemical company delivering performance-driven hydraulic fracturing solutions. Founded in 2015, we specialize in slickwater fluid systems and stimulation chemistries backed by data, engineering expertise, and hands-on field execution. With a growing footprint across major U.S. shale plays, DCS is built on a commitment to safety, accountability, and teamwork. As an ESOP company, every employee plays a role in our success and shares in the results of our work.

Based in Marshall, Texas, the Operations & Field Administrator is the operational and administrative link between the DriFlow Manager, our Haynesville field crews, and DCS’s corporate support teams. This role keeps field personnel scheduled, certified, lodged, and accurately paid, while maintaining control over spending and resource allocation.

The ideal candidate brings a mix of oilfield knowledge, particularly with field personnel travel, logistics, and payroll administration, and accounting expertise with a keen focus on cost control and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Dri-Flow Manager Support

  • Serve as the primary administrative support to the DriFlow Manager, assisting with daily scheduling, report generation, and KPI tracking.
  • Maintain the DriFlow operator and field support crews’ schedule, including crew rotations, job assignments, and time-off coverage, and keep employee location and assignment tracking current.
  • Monitor daily field activity, job progress, and wellsite schedules to anticipate staffing and equipment support needs.
  • Review downtime log entries for completeness and route them to the DriFlow Manager for approval.
  • Monitor field consumables inventory submissions and coordinate restocking so crews have the supplies they need on location.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for new field employees, including paperwork, PPE, orientation scheduling, and first-hitch travel.
  • Draft operational updates, maintain project documentation, and resolve administrative bottlenecks across field projects as they arise.

Field Accounting & Job Costing

  • Review district operational spending through the BILL app and maintain the budget for the district.
  • Reconcile job costs and track line-item expenses, partnering with Finance & Accounting on resource allocation and cost control priorities.

Time, Attendance & Payroll Verification

  • Collect, review, and verify field timecards, shift logs, and job site sign-offs, and prepare timesheets for DriFlow Manager approval before payroll submission.
  • Follow up with field employees on missing or incorrect time entries ahead of payroll deadlines.
  • Track overtime, per diem, and field differentials in accordance with company policy.
  • Audit reported time against job tickets to confirm that field hours match billed hours.

Training & Compliance Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate training courses and recertifications for field technicians and crews.
  • Confirm that all deployed personnel hold active, client-required credentials before arriving on location.

Travel & Crew Logistics

  • Coordinate travel and lodging for dispatched crews, including hotels, corporate housing, flights, and rental vehicles.
  • Manage travel card receipts, per diem tracking, and corporate travel program accounts (e.g., CLC Lodging, Concur).
  • Respond quickly to last-minute schedule changes, flight delays, and emergency lodging extensions.
Requirements:
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in an accounting or office support role.
  • Working knowledge of field ticketing, job costing, AP/AR processing, and billing.
  • A proven track record of accurate, detail-focused work with numbers and data.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across field crews, operations leadership, and corporate accounting teams.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills under tight deadlines and changing field conditions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across a large team without losing track of the details.
