Chattanooga, TN

HTI is currently hiring a material handler for Draexlmaier in Chattanooga, TN. The facility is onsite at Volkswagen Interested candidates should have prior material handling experience, stable work history, be able to work 2nd shift from 3pm-11 pm and will need to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities of a Material Handler

• Correctly stage and transport materials with labels affixed correctly.
• Effectively communicate with team leaders and supervisors regarding problems with the material flow, absence of parts, and safety concerns.
• Receive, sort, and distribute goods/materials and book them in and out according to instructions, if necessary.
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements of a Material Handler

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• At least 6 months forklift operating experience
• Have a valid Driver's license
• Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
• Ability to work OT when required.
