Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will influence technical decisions, mentor engineers, and help shape architecture roadmaps. Accountabilities:

Lead the design and implementation of high-performance services using Java and modern development frameworks.
Develop scalable microservices architectures leveraging Kafka and event-driven design patterns.
Build and maintain modern, responsive interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Design, optimize, and manage robust PostgreSQL database structures and advanced queries.
Implement best practices related to security, observability, resilience, and cloud environments on AWS.
Conduct code reviews and promote development standards, software quality, and technical consistency.
Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor developers across different seniority levels and support technical growth within the team.
Collaborate on strategic architectural decisions and contribute to long-term technology roadmaps.

Requirements:

Strong experience with Java 11+ and high-performance frameworks such as Micronaut.
Solid expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end architectures.
Advanced knowledge of Kafka, including topics, partitions, consumer groups, DLQ, and event-driven patterns.
Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as RDS, MSK, and API Gateway.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation and/or Terraform is a plus.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, integration patterns, scalability, and resilient architectures.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Ability to lead complex technical initiatives and support strategic engineering decisions.
Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Additional experience with Feature Flags, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, DDD, Event Sourcing, or CQRS is considered an advantage.
Previous experience acting as a Tech Lead or supporting engineering squads technically is a plus.
