Role Overview:
CXAL is seeking a strategic, execution-oriented leader to oversee and scale the company’s Marketing & Brand service line capability in support of defense and federal clients. This role requires strong leadership, executive presence, structured communication, systems thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Service Lines, Account Managers, Project Managers, analysts, and senior advisors.
This role is responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of strategic marketing, branding, and campaign-related initiatives while simultaneously helping operationalize and mature the Marketing & Brand Service Line as the company continues to grow.
The ideal candidate is a strong consultant, problem solver, and client advisor who can operate effectively in ambiguity, guide executive-level conversations, and translate complex client challenges into structured, actionable solutions. This individual must be capable of balancing strategic thinking with execution discipline while helping establish repeatable delivery methodologies, scalable processes, and high-quality client outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and mature CXAL’s Marketing & Brand Service Line, including development of scalable consulting capabilities, service offerings, methodologies, templates, and delivery standards
- Establish repeatable processes and frameworks that improve consistency, quality, and scalability across client engagements
- Define and refine core Marketing & Brand service offerings in alignment with organizational strategy and customer needs
- Partner with leadership to identify capability gaps, staffing needs, operational risks, and future growth opportunities
- Develop reusable tools, templates, playbooks, and engagement approaches to support efficient and consistent delivery
Lead strategic marketing, branding, communications, and stakeholder engagement initiatives for Air Force, Space Force, and other federal clients
- Lead development of branding, and marketing approaches for client initiatives
- Develop executive-level presentations, strategic narratives, messaging frameworks, and briefing materials
- Ensure consistency in brand positioning, messaging, storytelling, and visual communication across deliverables
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Organizational Development, Public Relations, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in marketing and branding or related leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic marketing and branding initiatives
- Experience operating within consulting, advisory, professional services, or client delivery environments
- Strong understanding of strategic communications, messaging strategy, brand positioning, audience engagement, and executive storytelling
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving, and fast-paced environments
- Experience developing executive-level presentations and client-facing deliverables
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and competing demands simultaneously
- Experience supporting government, defense, or highly regulated clients preferred
- Familiarity with U. S Air Force or Space Force environments is highly desirable
Travel: Approx. 25%, if located in Atlanta, more so if located elsewhere.
Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance Desired but not required.
