Job Description
Crews Bank & Trust is looking to add a Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Specialist to our Risk department. This is a hybrid position with both in-office and remote work from the SW Florida region and the bank's geographic footprint.

Requirements:The BSA Specialist supports the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Program to ensure regulatory requirements are met concerning customer due diligence, customer identification program, Beneficial Ownership, OFAC, currency transaction reporting, exemptions, activity alert management, and 314a processing.
- Ensure that all Currency Transaction Reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Conduct the required reviews on the bank’s exempt customers.
- Perform Watch List search requirements such as OFAC, 314a, PLC, etc.
- Monitor and process alerts in BSA/AML software daily.
- Completes all job assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner to adhere to guidelines.
- Assist in completing new account reviews for customer relationships for Customer Due Diligence, including Beneficial Ownership.
- Identify any relationships/customers that require risk coding and Enhanced Due Diligence.
- May assist in completing behavior reviews and suspicious activity investigations.
Background and Experience:
- Working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering/U.S. Patriot Act, OFAC Regulations. General knowledge and understanding of bank deposit operations, lending activities, and other related consumer banking and compliance functions.
- Experience with BSA/AML software preferred and/or banking operations.
- Competent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills with the ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, legal counsel, law enforcement, regulators and examiners while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Ability to be able to handle multi-tasks, be well organized and can easily handle stressful situations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Criminal Justice or another related field, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of banking or law enforcement experience required
