AEM Technical Lead

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AEM Technical Lead in Mexico.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the technical direction of enterprise-scale digital experience solutions built on Adobe Experience Manager. You will combine hands-on development with architectural ownership, shaping scalable, high-performance platforms that support global customer engagement. Acting as both engineer and technical leader, you will guide development teams while actively contributing to coding, reviews, and complex problem-solving. The environment is collaborative and globally distributed, requiring strong coordination across teams and time zones. You will play a key role in stabilizing and evolving long-term AEM capabilities within a major client engagement. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and hands-on engineering impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and evolution of scalable solutions within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring strong performance, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Act as a hands-on technical contributor, actively participating in coding, code reviews, debugging, and resolving complex AEM-related issues.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AEM development teams, guiding best practices across development, deployment, and system governance.
  • Own architectural decisions across AEM implementations, including integrations, workflows, performance optimization, and platform scalability.
  • Collaborate with distributed global teams to ensure consistent delivery, alignment, and execution across multiple regions.
  • Support the transition toward a stable, long-term internal AEM capability by strengthening engineering standards and delivery processes.
  • Ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to modern digital experience engineering practices across all AEM initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong experience as an AEM Technical Lead with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale digital experience solutions.
  • Hands-on development expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, including deep knowledge of Sling, OSGi, workflows, and core AEM architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and grow AEM engineering teams while remaining technically engaged in development work.
  • Experience working in distributed or global delivery environments with strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of system integration patterns, performance optimization, and scalable content management architectures.
  • Exposure to modern web technologies such as React, Next.js, or headless CMS implementations is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a balance of architectural thinking and hands-on execution.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and market standards
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible leave options
  • Life insurance and disability coverage
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan (where applicable)
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale Adobe Experience Cloud transformation programs
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven environment with global exposure
  • Career growth within a fast-evolving digital experience and technology consulting organization.
