This role is a senior architecture position focused on designing and governing enterprise-grade integration strategies across complex Salesforce ecosystems. You will define how Salesforce connects with critical business systems such as ERP, marketing, billing, and operational platforms through scalable, secure, and high-performance integration patterns. The role requires deep expertise in API design, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures to ensure seamless data flow across enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, security, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust integration solutions. A strong emphasis is placed on scalability, governance, and reliability across high-volume enterprise environments. This is a high-impact role where your architectural decisions will shape the foundation of Salesforce-enabled digital transformation initiatives.
You will define, design, and govern enterprise integration architecture across Salesforce ecosystems and connected enterprise platforms.
- Define end-to-end integration architecture for Salesforce across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Industry Clouds.
- Design and implement integration patterns including request-reply, batch processing, and event-driven architectures.
- Architect integrations using Salesforce capabilities such as Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Composite APIs.
- Lead integration design reviews and enforce architectural standards across Salesforce programs.
- Design API strategies, including versioning, contract management, and lifecycle governance.
- Build secure, scalable integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as ERP, billing, and data platforms.
- Implement identity and access strategies using OAuth, connected apps, and secure authentication flows.
- Establish error handling, retry mechanisms, and resilient integration patterns for high-reliability systems.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.
- Produce architecture artifacts including diagrams, design documents, and technical decision records.
- Mentor engineers and guide teams on integration best practices and scalable design patterns.
- Evaluate and guide adoption of integration platforms and middleware solutions.
You bring deep Salesforce expertise combined with strong enterprise integration architecture experience and a track record of delivering large-scale integration programs.
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with strong focus on enterprise integrations.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
- Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and distributed system design.
- Experience designing data synchronization strategies across ERP and enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of identity management, OAuth flows, and secure API design.
- Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and influence technical decisions at scale.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
- Salesforce Integration Architect certification required.
- Experience working with large-scale, high-volume integration environments is highly preferred.
