In this role, you will take part in a short but meaningful AI research study focused on strengthening cybersecurity systems against emerging digital threats such as deepfakes and synthetic media manipulation. Through a 30–40 minute remote video interview, you will contribute to the training and validation of AI models designed to detect fraud, identity spoofing, and digitally generated content. The work is fully remote, simple to join, and requires only basic technical setup, making it accessible to a wide range of participants. Beyond compensation, your input directly supports the development of safer digital environments and more trustworthy AI systems. In this short research participation role, you will contribute to AI training and cybersecurity research through a structured video interview session. Your involvement will directly support the improvement of systems designed to detect and prevent digital manipulation and fraud.
- Participate in a 30–40 minute remote video interview conducted in English
- Respond to conversational prompts related to digital content, identity, and media authenticity
- Provide verbal feedback that helps improve AI models for detecting deepfakes and synthetic media
- Ensure a stable, quiet environment suitable for recording and research integrity
- Follow instructions provided by the research facilitator throughout the session
Participants are expected to meet basic technical, language, and availability criteria to ensure high-quality research input.
- Must be a Canadian resident aged 18 or older
- Fluent or native English communication skills
- Access to a recent computer (2019 or newer) with webcam and microphone
- Stable internet connection capable of supporting video calls
- Ability to participate in a quiet, distraction-free environment
- Comfort with being recorded for AI research purposes
- Availability to complete the full 30–40 minute session
- Fixed compensation of $25 CAD for a 30–40 minute session
