JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fuel and grease all types of construction equipment on various job sites throughout the day. Also manage the scheduled maintenance for multiple pieces of equipment, stay organized, maintain daily paperwork and communicate with job site personnel. Minimum Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Fuel, grease, and lubricate heavy equipment, trucks, and construction machinery
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance inspections on equipment
  • Check and maintain fluid levels including oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, and DEF
  • Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, damage, or mechanical issues and report findings to maintenance personnel
  • Report to mechanics with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
  • Keep work areas, service trucks, and fueling stations clean and organized

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience working with heavy equipment, diesel equipment, or construction machinery
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of preventative maintenance practices
  • CDL Class B with X combination tank vehicle and hazardous materials

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems and diesel engines

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stoop, bend and crouch
  • Have full use of hands, arms and legs

  • Lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds
