About This Position
EMR Project Director
The EMR Project Director is responsible for all information system activities for the clinical divisions including electronic medical records, practice management systems, decision support systems, order entry systems, imaging systems, and clinical financial systems. This position plans, recommends and implements long and short range changes to the clinical information systems. A bachelor''s degree in Information Technology is required; a master''s degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience in a healthcare information technology department in a senior level position is required. Experience leading or being a part of an electronic medical records team and implementing clinical systems within a complex healthcare delivery network that spans both Hospital and Ambulatory care is also required.
