About This Position

Essential Functions

Corporate:

  • Adheres to the HTGP policies and procedures

  • Supports and enforces compliance to all HTGP Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental (ISO 14001) and Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001)policies and procedures

  • Manage the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget
  • Performs additional assignments/ duties as required by management

EHS:

  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
  • Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment
  • Consistently meets company safety goals

Technical:

  • Prepare journal entries for month, quarter, and year end
  • Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules
  • Prepare Financial statements for company and reporting package to HQ
  • Budget control based on business plans and preparing labor costs/SG&A expense analysis reports
  • Leads annual budgeting forecast and participates in the monthly close process
    • Lead semi- year inventory count and support year-end audit relates
    • Manage team of two or three and mentor and give guideline as needed relates to Finance department policy and work process
    • Intercompany transactions reconciliation
    • Outstanding A/AR reconciliation
    • Support Finance manager and CFO and perform ad hoc assignments as assigned.

Leadership:

  • Work with Finance Team and across all departments to improve accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Lead special projects assigned to Finance & Accounting Department as needed.
  • Promotes a positive workplace through communicating specifically and with respect.
  • Supports all activities regarding internal and external audits.
  • Positive attitude

Education

  • 4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance (advanced Degree Preferred)

Reporting

  • Reports to: Finance Manager/CFO
  • Experience: 5~8 years
  • Direct Reports: 2

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • Over 6~8 years job related experience preferred
  • Korean Bilingual preferred

  • Position may require domestic or international travel.
  • Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as required.
