About Us

The DASHealth specializes in mobile medical and research specimen collection, processing, and delivery services for homebound individuals, medical research groups, managed care organizations, laboratories, and biotech companies. Our work is dynamic, challenging, and mission-driven.

We are seeking highly motivated, experienced Mobile Phlebotomists / Field Service Technicians who are comfortable working independently and traveling extensively within a designated regional service area.

Training, equipment, and supplies are provided.

Position Overview

Field Service Technicians travel to patient homes, medical offices, and research sites to perform specimen collection and processing services. This role combines:

Direct patient care

Specimen processing and logistics

Minimum Qualifications

Formal training in phlebotomy

Minimum 1 years of phlebotomy experience with progressive responsibility

At least 1 years of experience collecting and processing diagnostic specimens in a hospital, clinic, or outpatient laboratory

Strong knowledge of medical terminology

Basic computer proficiency

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Licensure Requirements

Must be licensed, certified, and insured in your state of residence

California applicants: Must possess a valid California CPT-1 license

Other states: Current certification from an accepted phlebotomy certifying agency or comparable state licensure within scope of practice

Required Skills

Venipuncture and finger stick blood draws

Urine and stool specimen collection

Completing laboratory requisitions and medical documentation

Specimen processing (centrifuging, pipetting, freezing as required)

Specimen packaging and transport

Patient identification and compliance procedures

Customer-focused communication

Strong follow-through and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize workload

Professional presentation and demeanor

Key Responsibilities

Travel to patient homes, physician offices, and research sites

Perform blood draws and other specimen collections

Process and properly store specimens

Transport specimens to labs, PSCs, or shipping sites

Complete all documentation accurately and thoroughly

Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Report errors or issues promptly to the Team Leader or Laboratory Director

Additional Requirements

Reliable transportation with current liability insurance

Willingness to travel extensively within service area

Professional liability insurance (company provided)

Commitment to continuing education and professional development

Schedule & Compensation

Full time/Part Time/Per Diem positions available

Flexible schedule

Compensation:

Up to $25 per hour

o

Mileage reimbursement
