PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
As a PSA Assistant Project Manager (APM) for ISAT Total Support, you will support the Project Management Group while providing technical and administrative assistance across multiple projects. You will assist in coordinating technical aspects, supporting field operations, and helping drive the successful delivery of Pipe Stress Analysis (PSA) projects. This role is designed to develop into a Project Manager position through increased responsibility and technical growth.
Your primary focus will be Pipe Stress Analysis (PSA) projects, with exposure to a variety of scopes of work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of assigned PSA projects.
- Technical Support: Support technical reviews and project-related tasks under the direction of a Project Manager.
- Project Tracking: Help monitor multiple projects to support quality and timely delivery of work.
- Client Communication: Support communication with clients and field teams, ensuring documentation of project correspondence.
- Project Deliverables: Assist in tracking project deliverables from LOI/PO issuance to project completion.
- Quote Support: Collaborate with sales and Project Managers to help develop scope of work forms and quotations.
- Code Knowledge Development: Apply and continue developing knowledge of building codes (IBC, ASME, ASCE) to assist project teams.
- Product Knowledge: Develop familiarity with ISAT products and assist in identifying appropriate solutions for projects.
- Large-Scale Project Support: Provide support for large-scale or cross-market projects when needed.
- Documentation: Maintain organized project files and ensure communications are properly stored in project folders.
- Change Orders: Assist in identifying scope changes and work with the Sales team and Project Manager to capture change orders.
- Opportunity Identification: Support efforts to identify additional opportunities within existing ISAT clients and projects.
- Process Improvement: Assist in improving technical support procedures and systems.
- Custom Engineering Support: Support quality control efforts on custom engineering packages.
- Project Setup: Assist with setting up project tasks in billing software and maintaining accurate project records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in Pipe Stress design, engineering support, or project coordination preferred.
- Foundational understanding of building codes (ASCE, ASME, IBC).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Background check required for employment.
