About Beacon Kalamazoo
Beacon Kalamazoo provides 24/7 emergency care and a Level II Trauma Center. We deliver care for serious life-threatening injuries/illnesses, and your everyday health needs, including labor and delivery. We offer specialty care for heart/vascular disease, lung and sleep disorders, mental health conditions, and women’s health. We offer a wide range of outpatient services, including diagnostic imaging, lab tests, respiratory therapy and rehabilitation therapy services.

Pharmacist Job Responsibilities
· Review, verify, and dispense inpatient medication orders
· Provide clinical pharmacotherapy consults to providers and nursing staff
· Monitor patient medication therapies for safety and efficacy
· Participate in interdisciplinary rounds
· Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies
· Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications
· PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy
· Active Michigan pharmacist license (or eligibility)
· Hospital/inpatient experience
· Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
· Commitment to patient-centered care
