Facilities Attendant at Slipaway – Cape Coral, Florida

Role: The Facilities Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the food truck park, ship store, administrative offices, and the surrounding Slipaway grounds. Duties include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities, and collecting trash to ensure the business's occupants have a clean space.

Environment: Dynamic, outdoor/indoor environment. Minor travel may occur. Subject to loud noise levels.

Job Duties

• Monitoring the cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as pavilions, bar, ship store, offices, marina, parking lot, and outdoor recreation spaces.

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in all facilities
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities regularly throughout shifts
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Maintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces and shared spaces
• Restock restroom supplies as needed

Grounds & Exterior Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor seating areas, walkways, and parking areas
• Remove debris and litter from grounds
• Monitor exterior trash and disposal areas
• Assist with basic outdoor upkeep to maintain curb appeal

Facility Support

• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Assist with minor facility tasks as assigned
• Support event setup and breakdown when required
• Maintain organized storage and supply areas
• Assisting in preparing facilities for changing weather conditions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable interacting with guests in both indoor and outdoor settings, if required.
• Ability to move up to 50+ lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
