TECH-CMH HOS Nursing Support at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Patient Care Technician to provide exceptional care for our patients in our various hospital departments—Nursing Support Department. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: The nursing team in the Nursing Support Department strive to SERVE in the care we provide to patients, families and each other. Each nursing member brings their strengths to the team and works together to provide exceptional compassion and care to the community we serve. We strive to make a difference each day and promote a positive, team-driven attitude. Each PCT on duty will have the support of management, LPNs, RNs, and providers to care for our patients.

A typical day includes:

A typical day for a PCT involves providing a range of basic patient care duties across different departments or units in a hospital or healthcare facility.

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitoring vital signs
• Assuring patient comfort measures are met
• Documenting in-patient and departmental records in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

• Education: HS diploma
• Experience: No experience needed—however, one year is preferred. We provide on the job training! It is a plus if you are certified as a nurse assistant.
• Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills, Willing to learn and be a valuable person for the department.
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking.

The position is Full Time, Nights.
