On-Demand Ultrasonographer, Emergency+Urgentcare at Med Center Health – Bowling Green, Kentucky

Med Center Health, in partnership with Intuitive Health, is bringing an innovative hybrid emergency and urgent care facility — Med Center Health Emergency+Urgentcare — to Bowling Green, KY.

The On-Demand Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound services on an as-needed basis to support patient care in a fast-paced emergency and urgent care setting. This role participates in a rotating on-call schedule and is contacted to report to the facility when exams are required. The sonographer performs high-quality imaging studies while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficient workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required.
• Current ARDMS registration or registry-eligible required.
• Ability to respond to call within established timeframes.
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills.
• Willingness to participate in a collaborative on-call rotation, typically including approximately four (4) on-call shifts within a six-week period (with at least one evening, night, or weekend shift) and limited holiday coverage shared across the team.
