Pharmacy Tech Advoc KAL at Beacon Health System – Kalamazoo, Michigan

Provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.

Responsibilities:
Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.

Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the Pharmacy department.

Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounds.

Repackages bulk medications.

Receives and stores incoming supplies.

Triages incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• Required Credential(s):
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job
transfer date.
Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
