Lead Recruiter

Hybrid - must live within a reasonable commute to West Palm Beach, FL (Riveria Beach, FL)

OVERVIEW

The Lead Recruiter will take hands-on ownership to lead and execute hiring across our brand of companies. This role is heavily focused on recruiting execution, particularly for high-volume, revenue-generating field roles. The Lead Recruiter/Recruiting Supervisor will also help build the structure, process, and systems we need to scale and grow the business.

You would own full-cycle recruiting, partner closely with field leadership, and play a key role in implementing and optimizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Success in this role requires strong relationship management, the ability to navigate change, and a proactive approach to building pipelines, not just filling roles that are open.

How success is measured in this role:

  • Time-to-Fill: Roles are filled within target timelines, with urgency around technician and revenue-driving positions
  • Req Load Management: Ability to manage a high volume of open roles (15–25+ reqs) across multiple locations
  • Quality of Hire: Strong retention and performance of new hires (30/60/90-day outcomes)
  • Offer Acceptance Rate: High acceptance rates through effective candidate management and closing
  • Pipeline Health: Consistent, proactive pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
  • Hiring Manager Satisfaction: Trusted partner to field leaders; strong communication and follow-through
  • Process Efficiency: Reduced bottlenecks, streamlined workflows, and faster movement through stages
  • Source Effectiveness: Ability to identify and scale high-performing sourcing channels (referrals, local outreach, job boards)
  • System Adoption: Successful implementation and consistent use of Paylocity ATS and recruiting workflows
  • Reporting & Visibility: Clear, accurate reporting on recruiting activity, progress, and risks

What You’ll Be Trusted With:

Full-Cycle Recruiting Execution

  • Lead and execute full-cycle recruiting across field (technicians, installers), operations, and corporate roles
  • Manage sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer processes end-to-end
  • Prioritize and balance high-volume hiring needs across multiple locations

Skilled Labor & Field Hiring Strategy

  • Build and maintain pipelines for hard-to-fill technician roles
  • Leverage creative sourcing strategies including referrals, local outreach, trade schools, and community partnerships
  • Support hiring events and market-specific recruiting initiatives

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and field leadership to understand hiring needs and timelines
  • Act as a trusted advisor — setting expectations, providing market insight, and influencing decisions when needed
  • Maintain strong communication and follow-up throughout the hiring process

Process & Systems (Paylocity)

  • Support implementation and optimization of Paylocity ATS and onboarding workflows
  • Help standardize recruiting processes, job postings, and workflows across the business
  • Ensure data integrity and consistent use of systems

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report on recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and hiring progress
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and quality
  • Bring ideas — not just problems — to improve hiring outcomes

What you bring to the table:

  • 4–8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience recruiting for skilled labor, field-based, or high-volume roles (HVAC, plumbing, construction, or similar industries strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple roles, priorities, and stakeholders at once
  • Experience working with or implementing an ATS (Paylocity experience is a strong plus)
  • Strong relationship management skills — able to build trust quickly with field and corporate leaders
  • Comfortable operating in environments that are growing, changing, or evolving
  • Ability to balance execution with process improvement

Nice to Have (But Not Required):

  • Experience in residential services or multi-location businesses
  • Background in private equity-backed or high-growth companies
  • Experience building recruiting processes or improving existing ones
  • Familiarity with recruitment marketing or employer branding for field roles
