This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical finance professional to shape the financial foundation of a growing organization. As a Financial Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, transforming operational and financial data into clear insights that guide decision-making. The position focuses on building robust financial reporting frameworks, improving systems, and supporting long-term financial planning. You will play a key role in transitioning financial operations from reactive reporting to a structured, data-driven model. This role requires strong financial modeling expertise, systems thinking, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy building financial infrastructure and influencing high-level strategic decisions.
Accountabilities:- Develop and maintain structured monthly financial reporting packages, including full financial statements and departmental budget vs. actual analysis.
- Partner with operational leaders to collect and standardize financial and operational data for consistent reporting.
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions related to pricing, programs, and growth initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level and board-ready financial reports, insights, and presentations.
- Manage multi-year capital expenditure planning, including tracking project budgets and monitoring financial performance.
- Oversee project-level cash flow monitoring and perform variance analysis on capital initiatives.
- Maintain rolling cash flow forecasts to support liquidity management and financial planning.
- Ensure financial records remain audit-ready and support coordination for tax compliance activities.
- Monitor compliance with loan covenants and manage financial reporting requirements for lenders.
- Improve financial systems by enhancing data integrity across accounting, POS, and operational platforms.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the efficiency of financial workflows.
- Support risk management initiatives, including oversight of insurance renewal processes and analysis of coverage costs.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or strategic finance roles.
- Strong experience in recurring revenue environments such as membership-based organizations, subscription businesses, or SaaS.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Deep understanding of three-statement financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience designing or implementing financial reporting systems and operational financial infrastructure.
- Ability to translate operational and financial data into strategic insights for senior leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to executives or board members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a structured and organized manner.
- Experience with capital budgeting, multi-year planning, or financial system automation is considered an advantage.
- Background in hospitality, service-based organizations, or private club environments is a plus.
