As a Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant, you’ll help keep the heart of our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen tools are sparkling clean and ready to go. You’ll also pitch in with basic prep and cleanup tasks, making you a vital part of the culinary team.

Career Pathing:

This role could expand into Prep and/or Cook III roles after established tenure and internal department training. It depends on the individual to ensure that they are exceeding expectations and seeking guidance/training when offered.

What You’ll Be Up To:

Rock the dish pit using commercial dishwashers to keep everything sparkling clean.

Roll up your sleeves for a little hand-washing magic—some things just need that personal touch!

Keep the kitchen fresh by emptying trash bins regularly (you’re basically a sanitation superhero).

Give our beverage stations (coffee, tea, soda—you name it) a daily wipe-down so they’re always ready to pour.

Rotate dishware and utensils like a pro to help them last longer and stay in top shape.

Keep dish storage areas neat and organized—chaos isn’t your thing.

Stick to food safety and sanitation rules—because cleanliness is cool (and super important).

Speak up if something’s not working—equipment issues or anything off should be flagged ASAP.

Jump in to help the kitchen crew during the rush—prepping, cleaning, whatever needs doing.

Pitch in with opening and closing duties—teamwork makes the dream work.

See a spill or broken glass? You're on it immediately for everyone’s safety.

Show up on time, every time—your teammates are counting on you.

Maintain good hygiene and a positive vibe while working with a diverse, awesome team.

Take on extra tasks with a can-do attitude—every little bit helps!

What We’re Looking For:

You like staying busy and don’t mind hands-on, repetitive work.

You're reliable with your time and can roll with a flexible schedule.

Can lift up to 50+ lbs when needed and comfortable standing, bending, and moving for long shifts.

Able to read cleaning labels and write clearly when needed—communication matters!

You understand the importance of safety, cleanliness, and being a pro in the kitchen.
