Recreation Team Member - San Diego KOA Resort at KEI Outdoors – Chula Vista, California

The San Diego KOA is an award-winning outdoor campground resort looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and energetic recreation team members. Sunny southern California allows us to be open 365 days a year offering camping in RVs, Cabins, Deluxe Cabins & tents. Our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service. Working hours:

• Seasonal/ Part- Time
• 15-30 hours depending on the occupancy of the campground
• Monday - Sunday
• Hours can be scheduled between 7am-11pm
• Most hours will occur in the evenings, weekends & holidays
• $16.90 and up depending on your experience
• Reports to the Recreation Department Manager

Responsibilities:

• Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
• Leads and participates in scheduled events and activities which may include athletic, craft, social, and instructional activities
• Responds to inquiries from camping guests
• Coordinates with all staff to help resolve guest complaints
• Verifies the reconciliation of payments of cash or credit cards
• Efficiently participates in set-up and break down equipment for guest activities
• Performs basic maintenance and cleaning, as needed
• Conducts pre and post trip inspections of bicycles to verify safety and proper operations
• Help to coordinate the maintenance of all equipment used for recreational activities
• Operate various types of standard office equipment, including a personal computer and related software
• Participate in team training sessions
• Complete tasks as assigned by Recreation Manager
• Assist other departments as need to ensure a successful guest experience as assigned by San Diego KOA leadership team

• Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members

• Communicate professionally and patiently

• Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 30 lbs.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Bilingual a plus
