Shuttle Driver at Lampton Welding Supply – Wichita, Kansas

A shuttle driver is responsible for the safe delivery of products between branch locations. The driver must understand and safely operate delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Complete and maintain logs and reports concerning deliveries and vehicle inspections.
• Complete the orderly product loading of vehicles which insures the efficient use of time and scheduling of delivery routes.
• Ability to unload and deliver items using a two-wheel dolly.
• Deliver products to branches and customers while abiding by load safety, DOT and general safe driving guidelines.
• Maintain the proper cleanliness of assigned vehicles and carefully complete pre and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist with such other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned or required to insure maximum distribution and operations effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year prior over the road product delivery experience preferred.
• Class A CDL with HAZMAT required
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Clean driving record is preferred.
• Have strong commitment toward safety.
