Account Payable Assistant

Job Description: Seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our growing accounting team. Responsible for accurately recording accounts payable transactions and preparing related reports.

Responsibilities:

Code invoices to correct general ledger accounts and obtain necessary approvals.

Prepare and process weekly vendor payments efficiently.

Manage internal and external inquiries regarding payment status, account balances, and resolve discrepancies.

Update vendor records with all necessary supporting documentation.

Reconcile accounts payable balances and collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies.

Skills:

Minimum 1 year proven experience in Accounts Payable.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP systems.

Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records.
