About the Position:

The Director / Senior Director of Commercial Finance will lead the end-to-end commercial deal lifecycle across new business, expansions, and renewals for a growing colocation and data center platform. You and your team will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Sales Engineering, Operations, and Customer Experience to structure complex colocation agreements, prepare project and deal-based returns analysis, optimize pricing and contract strategy, directly negotiate with customers, and proactively manage the renewal pipeline. The role requires strong commercial judgment, exceptional attention to detail, confidence presenting to both executives and customers, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Director / Senior Director title will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, leadership scope, and performance throughout the interview process. Exceptionally qualified candidates with broader strategic and organizational impact may be considered at the Senior Director level.

What you do daily: (Key Responsibilities)
  • Lead and develop the Deal Desk and Renewal teams at Cologix
  • Serve as a key advisor, identify and direct enterprise-wide strategy projects and oversee execution of Pricing, Renewals, and Commercial Excellence
  • Establish approval frameworks, delegation of authority, and escalation processes within the Commercial team
  • Analyze market pricing trends to ensure product pricing is appropriate and competitively set
  • Partner with C-level/Senior Leadership, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams on product development, product pricing, product price positioning, go-to-market plans and operational execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Customer Experience to align commercial decisions with company objectives
  • Drive expansion within the existing portfolio through coordinated technical, commercial, and customer strategies
  • Own the renewals and retention strategy, driving long-term customer value and minimizing churn across the portfolio
  • Continuously improve commercial processes, tools, and operating models to support scale and efficiency
  • Demonstrate thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in evaluating and negotiating new and existing contracts, as well as leveraging pricing tools to contribute to pricing strategies

What makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (MBA preferred)
  • 7-10+ years of experience in the colocation or telecommunications industry in a pricing, finance, or asset management capacity is required
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performance teams
  • Extensive knowledge of space, power and interconnection pricing as well as awareness of and understanding of network and cloud offerings
  • Expert level Excel and financial-modeling skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Customer negotiation experience
  • Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Previous Success building strong cross-departmental business relationships
  • Previous experience working cross functionally to analyze and form business cases for new product offerings
  • Multi-market pricing strategy creation (Intl preferred)
  • Large scale deal analysis

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. This position will also be eligible for an annual bonus.
