Energy Modeler at Schnackel Engineers Inc – Miami, Florida

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare energy compliance reports (COMcheck, California Title 24/EnergyPro, Energy Gauge, Seattle/Washington State and ASHRAE forms).

• Coordinating with the client, the MEP/FP/IT design team, and other consultants to ensure the design is consistent with the client’s vision and green building expectations.

• Prepare documentation for LEED, and WELL projects.

• Participate in meetings and conference calls when deemed necessary.

• Identify, analyze, and solve engineering problems using industry standards and engineering calculations.

What We Are Looking For:

• Two or more years of energy design experience with an MEP/FP engineering consultant.

• Energy calculation experience Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft 360.

• Knowledge of MEP engineering principles.

• In possession of or ability to obtain LEED BD+C, or ID+C credentials.

• Exceptional communication and organization skills, including ability to prioritize tasks and multitask.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently upon receiving necessary direction and information.

• Thrive in fast-paced environments with desire to work efficiently.
