Moffitt Services is looking to expand our team. We are currently hiring a Diesel Mechanic who will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventative maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; and keeping records.

Qualifications

Performing vehicle maintenance, including hydraulics, air brakes, steering and suspension, lighting, electric, diesel engine, air conditioning, fluid levels and oil changes, and general repairs and maintenance.
Reconditioning and replacing parts.
May weld and cut parts using arc-welding and flame-cutting equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of shop and equipment.
Completing maintenance logs and work orders.

Experience

3-5 years

Education

High school or equivalent (Preferred) CDL Hazmat Tanker, a plus
PTO Experience, a plus
Tanker Experience, a plus
PACCAR Davie4 and/or Cummins INSITE experience, a plus

Relocation

This position is not eligible for relocation.

Able to work a rotating schedule (Typically 5/2) - May have to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
