Job Summary**

WEG Transformers USA seeks motivated and dependable College Interns to support manufacturing operations at the Washington, Missouri site during the approaching summer term of up to thirteen weeks.

Interns will receive a project-based assignment in selected business functions.

Each intern will deliver a mid-assignment presentation and a final presentation to site leadership, including WEG executives.

Presentations summarize results, lessons learned, and potential future applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned improvement projects, which may include:
    • Workforce retention initiatives
    • Inventory management improvements
    • Site expansion and space-planning support
    • Process documentation and administrative accuracy initiatives
    • Employee suggestion and engagement systems
    • Project management process improvements
    • Learning & Development structure support
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to meet defined project goals and timelines
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to site leadership
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement discussions
