About This Position
Project Engineer, BS plus 5-10yrs of experience. Duties to include:Project Design Support – In support of multiple projects, the candidate will support development of design requirements including Modification Travelers, writing design statements of work (SOW), ensuring that documentation of the project specification, design basis, design criteria, and code of record are completed for each assigned project to the satisfaction of the assigned project design authority. They will lead design reviews, collect comments, track comments to closure, ensure design deliverables are routed and approved.Construction support – In support of multiple projects, candidate will have the responsibility to respond to construction RFIs, review and approve submittals, and redline design drawings. All construction activities will be approved by the Project Design Authority in support of construction projects. Other supporting includes assisting with development and review of construction statements of work, including Master Submittal Register/Log and Vendor Submittal Distribution Matrix, and construction work packages to ensure work is planned and performed in accordance with procedures and design documents. Support commissioning and testing of completed installations. Fabrication – In support of multiple projects. The candidate will support development of procurement specifications, Statements of Work, Fabrication Inspection Test Plans, submittals, submittal reviews, and support fabrication inspections of fabricated items needed for construction projects. The candidate will work in support of the project DA and QA as applicable on fabrications. Assist with coordination and planning of visits to fabricator facility in support of quality oversight. Assist with coordination of suppliers and vendors for timely delivery. In addition the candidate will:Facilitate clear and timely communication with project stakeholders. Prepare presentations and status reports for management. Initiate and manage document workflows for design documents and vendor submittals Provide technical guidance to resolve field or design issues during execution.
