OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant professional with experience in controlling to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and hands-on experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems to manage financial processes efficiently. This role will support financial decision-making by providing accurate financial insights, ensuring compliance, improving financial performance, and implementing of S4HANA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Performs cost controlling and variance analysis to monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts
Utilizes SAP (FI/CO modules preferred) for financial transactions, reporting, and data analysis
Monitors cost centers, profit centers, and project costs to ensure accurate financial tracking
Assists with month-end and year-end closing processes
Supports internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports
Ensures compliance with IFRS and GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
Supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with finance leadership
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency
Supports SAP system improvements, reporting enhancements, and financial data integrity
Serves as a technical resource to the accounting staff, sharing knowledge and guidance without formal supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience (required)
4–6 years of experience in accounting or financial controlling
Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO modules preferred)/or other ERP system
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and budgeting
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Key competencies include: financial analysis and reporting, cost controlling and variance analysis, SAP/ERP financial systems expertise, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement and internal controls, cross-functional collaboration
Experience (preferred)
Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA
Experience working in manufacturing, and corporate finance
Knowledge of ERP reporting tools or BI tools (Power BI, BI, etc.)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primarily desk-type duty
