The Field Service Planner plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, while also identifying process improvements to streamline workflows. - Schedule and dispatch field installation technicians for projects nationwide, ensuring timely execution and adherence to timelines
- Manage resource allocation to optimize utilization and efficiency across all field activities
- Coordinate with customers to confirm appointments, communicate technician availability, and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Maintain clear communication with field service technicians, providing instructions and ensuring completion of service tasks
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure seamless project execution
- Administer completion documentation, invoicing, and purchase order processes accurately and efficiently
- Track and maintain records of service activities, installer availability, and customer communications
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate customer satisfaction
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a service scheduler or planner
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce and scheduling software tools
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant planning tools
