Responsibilities
Now Hiring for a Production Manager at our MSA Safety Globe Manufacturing Ada, Oklahoma plant.
In this role you will be counted on to oversee and optimize the manufacturing operations of a textiles factory specializing in turnout gear production. You will ensure timely execution of high-quality products while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork through a good work environment. Achieve production targets, uphold compliance with quality, industry and safety standards, and drive operational excellence through effective resource management, employee engagement, and process improvement initiatives.
Daily Execution
Communication
Variety of support staff for the plant and division.
Providing performance information and/or data along with commentary to the Plant Manager and other Management as needed.
Financial Responsibility
People Development and Leadership
- PMP Process.
- Facilitates development plans.
- Looks for training opportunities to grow staff beyond the day-to-day assignment opportunities.
- Promotes development in regular interactions with production associates.
- Develops departmental standards and establish overall priorities.
- Responsible for performance and leadership of a department, accountable for performance management and hire/fire decisions.
Champion the MSA Business System / Operating System
Support New Product Development

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a Related Field.
- 3+ years supervisory / managerial experience.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical capabilities, excellent communication skills, management knowledge / execution and solid financial / analytical skills.
Preferred:
Master's Degree
