JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Truck Driver to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to operate commercial vehicles efficiently while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport goods over local, regional, or long-distance routes as required.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, and other team members.
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols, including DOT guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with Tanker endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Proven work experience as a truck driver.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand for long periods of time
• Have full use of arms and hands and the ability to reach for, handle and manipulate objects
• Frequently lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds
• Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects
• Carry tools and equipment
• Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl for long periods of time
• Be able to see (naturally or with correction)

The environment is exclusively outdoors; thus, the job often involves all weather extremes. Work requires alert individuals with good balance, physical strength and on-the-job training.
