Electrician

Electrical Construction Technician Lead Residential and Commercial Installations

Job Overview:

  • Company: Nash Electrical Services.

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $30 to $40+ per hour (Based on experience) plus Performance Bonus.

  • Location: Onsite - Rochester, NY (Travel required for project assignments).

  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (Occasional overtime and Saturdays).

  • Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, and Industrial.

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License. OSHA 10.

The Opportunity: You will serve as a skilled technical expert, performing high-quality electrical installations and wiring for diverse construction projects. This role offers the chance to work independently and collaboratively in a supportive environment where your technical proficiency directly impacts client satisfaction.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Execute precise electrical installations and wiring for residential and commercial projects.

  • Interpret complex blueprints and schematics to ensure accuracy in field operations.

  • Maintain strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local standards.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on-site to maintain project momentum.

  • Coordinate with supervisors and clients to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.

  • Mentor junior team members through professional apprenticeship and training programs.

  • Document project progress and safety compliance to ensure operational transparency.

  • Fantastic team player and team focused mentality.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical construction.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.

  • Proven ability to read and interpret detailed electrical plans and technical manuals.

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with electrical testing instruments and specialized hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of industrial control systems and specialized commercial equipment.

  • Previous experience in a mentorship or field-training capacity for junior staff.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and team coordination.

  • OSHA 30 would be a plus.
