About the Role:
The General Manager Restaurants is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and performance of multiple restaurant locations within the United States. This role ensures that each restaurant meets high standards of quality, customer service, and profitability while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The General Manager will lead and develop restaurant management teams, fostering a positive work environment that drives employee engagement and retention. They will analyze financial reports, implement strategic initiatives, and optimize operational processes to maximize efficiency and growth. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in enhancing the brand reputation and delivering exceptional dining experiences to customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, including supervisory roles.
- Proven track record of managing multiple restaurant locations or large teams.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, and labor laws.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management.
- Experience with multi-unit restaurant management in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and inventory management software.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality management.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations to ensure consistent quality and service standards across all locations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant managers and staff to build strong, effective teams.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve financial targets, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Analyze sales and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to support promotional activities and inventory management.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.
