About the Role
AccuLynx is seeking a data-driven and customer-focused Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, analytics, and marketing technology, and is eager to deepen their expertise in lifecycle and revenue marketing.
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will own the execution and optimization of email and lifecycle campaigns that engage prospects and customers across the funnel. You’ll play a key role in driving demand generation, product adoption, expansion, and retention through highly targeted, personalized communication strategies. This position collaborates closely with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to deliver impactful campaigns that align with business goals.
This role can be based in our Chicago office.
What You’ll Do- Own and manage the email and lifecycle marketing calendar aligned to pipeline and revenue goals
- Build, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, landing pages, and in-app where applicable) using marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot
- Develop compelling, conversion-focused copy and messaging tailored to different audience segments and stages of the customer journey
- Design and implement segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates
- Execute A/B and multivariate testing across subject lines, content, timing, and audience segments to continuously improve performance
- Monitor campaign performance and KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversion rates, pipeline influence), and translate insights into actionable optimizations
- Partner with design and content teams to create visually engaging and on-brand email experiences
- Support lead nurturing, onboarding, upsell, and retention programs through automated workflows and drip campaigns
- Leverage AI-powered tools for content ideation, testing, and optimization while maintaining brand voice and quality standards
- Stay current on email marketing trends, deliverability best practices, privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR), and evolving Martech capabilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging with product releases, sales initiatives, and customer lifecycle milestones
Requirements: Your Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation (B2B SaaS experience preferred)
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or similar)
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft concise, engaging, and conversion-driven messaging
- Working knowledge of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and deliverability
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions and optimize performance
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and campaign experimentation frameworks
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email editing is a plus
- Experience with AI-assisted marketing tools and a curiosity for emerging technologies
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- High attention to detail, with strong grammar, proofreading, and QA capabilities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders
